Ben Austrian (American, 1870-1921), oil on canvas landscape, signed lower right and dated 1919, inscribed verso To Mrs. W.L. Beebe St. Paul Minn. your visit to my studio was an inspiration. This little picture I know will be enjoyed by you both and I am happy, retaining its original Newcomb Macklin style frame, 20" x 16".
Loss of 2" to rear of side cornice. Four shelf interior. One front foot replaced. Two side facings pieced. Two 3" base molding pieces on one side replaced. Losses to center of front base molding.
