Assembled set of five New England braceback Windsor chairs, ca. 1785, to include two arms and three sides, retaining an old green and black surface. Provenance: Joe Kindig Jr.
#1 - small blowout to leg at seat, one leg replaced. #2 - one spindle busted, cracks to seat. Armchair #1 - breaks to crest at arms. Arm #2 - good condition, no apparent damages or repairs. All with abrasions. Provenance: The Collection of Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence H. Skromme, Lancaster, PA.
