Assembled Georgian silver flatware service, 18th c. to include fifteen pistol grip dinner knives, eleven Sheffield plate pistol grip butter knives, twelve soup spoons, eleven tablespoons, twelve demitasse spoons, thirteen fish forks, and sixteen dinner forks, 91.5 ozt.
Condition
Large assembled lot. All similar but not identical. Coat of arms on some pieces. No rat tail joints. A spoon marked with a left facing full body lion in a rectangle, a crowned head of a lion in shield, and a capital M in a diamond. Large knives are mixed and marks include coat of arms such as a stag in rook top with spread eagle (1 pc.), a right arm holding a septer topped with trifoil (12 pcs), crown over S+T monogram, JATME.TA.LIBERTE in an arch over a crested bird with leafed twig in beak on a base.
