Apulian red figure fish plate, 4th c. B.C., with cuttlefish, skate and bream, 8 1/4" dia. Provenance: A private Belgian collection, acquired in the late 1970s and later purchased in 2013 from Treasuregate, Brussels. Lot includes relevant paperwork and Dutch customs paperwork.
Intact. No apparent damages. Provenance: A Pennsylvania estate. All of the ancient art and antiquities in this sale are from the same estate. An ancient art specialist was brought in from New York to assist with authenticating and describing the pieces in the collection.
