Approximately fifty-three Austrian cold painted bronze insects, mid 20th c., largest - 2 1/2" l.
Cicada - wing tear. Mayfly - missing one wing. Small dragonfly - both wing sets off but present. Cockroach - paint loss. All other pieces look to be in good condition with no apparent condition issues. Provenance: Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, PA for the Benefit of The Schaeffer Endowment Fund of The Phillips Museum of Art. No additional photographs available for this lot.
