Approximately .45 caliber full stock flint lock rifle, with a tiger maple stock, an ornate brass patch box, a seven-pointed silver star on the cheek rest, and a 42 3/4" octagonal rifle barrel, the rest of the furniture is brass and the lock inscribed {SHARPE}. Overall very good condition with no obvious repairs. Barrel attached to stock with 3 pins and bore is plugged approximate 1" from muzzle appears to be a broken ramrod. The rifle appears to be early 19th c. The left side of the rifle has a 2 1/2" x 1 1/2", 8 pointed silver star inlaid into the cheek rest. The lock is in working condition with both good main springs and frizzen springs.
