Andrew Wyeth(American, b. 1917), watercolor of the Concord River near Needham, Massachusetts, signed lower right "Andrew Wyeth", 22" x 30". Accompanying this lot is a working copy of the musical composition titled "The Concord River", and dated "July 1934", written by Ann Wyeth. Provenance: Descended in the Wyeth family to the present owner. According to family tradition, this watercolor was painted by Wyeth in 1934 while visiting with his father, N.C. Wyeth, in Needham.
Good condition. No apparent touch-ups or repairs. Sheet music accompanies this lot.
