Andreas V. Kessler (Southeastern Pennsylvania, active 1805-1820), watercolor and ink on paper fraktur, done for Maria Faust, 1813, Union County, with a central heart, a colorful blue, red, and yellow sawtooth border enclosing script, and three other hearts with similar borders and script flanked by typical flat parrots, tulips, and trailing vines, 13" x 16".
Vines unfinished. Some edge loss. Light creases. Several small losses to script.
