American wallpaper hat box, mid 19th c., decorated with a frigate off the Sandy Hook lighthouse, all on a yellow ground, 12 1/2'' h., 16 3/4'' w., together with an early woven bonnet. Provenance: Francis Brinton, West Chester, 1935.
Parts: information. 12" section of rim on lid detached. Lid panel has been reattached to rim. Abrasions throughout. String handle added to mid body. Bonnet - as found. Property Formerly in the Collection of Titus Geesey
