American made, French and Indian War era flintlock musket, approximately .75 caliber, in the British Long Land Pattern, with a tiger maple stock, a brass buttplate, and a shield-form thumb escutcheon, the trigger guard inscribed T. Lee 1747, 47'' round, smoothbore barrel.

Condition

This musket has a total length of 62.5". The barrel is pinned and there is an old primitive 2" brass band 6.5" back from the muzzle. Stock has a 4.5" x 3/4" piece missing 7" forward of the barrel plug and has been diagonally cut there. The 2 screw lock is missing the back screw and the lock does not stay cocked.
