American "extra grade" Wooton desk, pat. 1874, Indianapolis, Indiana, with renaissance revival gilt and burl veneered exterior and ebonized and birdseye maple interior, 74" h., 41" w., 29" d.
Top center molding between two doors is replaced. Patches and replacements to raised panels on one end. 2" x 4" patch to right sunken panel on door. Repainting to gold gilt accents. 2" x 3" patch to one interior drawer. One lower drawer with loss.
