American coverlet dated 1842, signed "J. Cunningham Weaver N. Hartford", the border decorated with eagles and George Washington on horseback, 74" x 88".
No fringe. One hole, approx. 1" x 1" (not repaired). Several small areas of moth damage to wool on obverse and reverse (mostly to dark side). Brown spots (medium to light) throughout.
