Finely decorated Algonquin birch bark lidded trinket box, late 19th c., with underside identifying it as from the River Desert Basin Algonquin band and having "pitcher plant" motif around sides, as well as having a bow painted on lid, 4" h., 4" w., 3 1/2" l.
