After Benjamin West (American, 1738-1820) well executed period rendition of West's iconic Death of General Wolfe, oil on mahogany panel, 19 3/4" x 27 1/4". Analysis by Winterthur Museum dates this painting ca. 1815.
Two board panel. Horizontal seem through middle. 1/4" flake to center. Dirty.
