Acoma polychrome pot, possibly by the Acoma man/woman potter, ca. 1890-1900, with red, black, and orange on a cream ground with cross hatching, diamond, floral, and checkerboard decoration with indented base and red internal rim, 10" h., 6 3/4" dia. opening. Provenance: Purchased between 1895 and 1900 at Laguna Pueblo by Patrick Sughrue by family tradition.
