Prettyman of Delaware to consul of the United States at Glasgow, together with an acceptance letter from Queen Victoria referencing the President's appointment, a book The Middle States Medical Reformer and Advocate of Innocuous Medication, 1855, written by J.S. Prettyman, another book Abraham Lincoln as Attorney for the Illionois Central Railroad Company, 1905 #135/200, and a contemporary book on the Prettyman Family. Lincoln letter - contemporary frame, foxing and staining, creases, two very small holes to lower right. Victoria letter - contemporary frame, some stains, creases, not examined out of frame.
