Abraham Lincoln coffin souvenir, with typed translation of note on verso, inscribed Compliments of Benjamin Taylor of Washington to Alfred Ruhl of Philadelphia. Pieces of the case, coffin, braid, covering, tacks, lace and gimp of the late lamented President Abraham Lincoln April 1865, in a period shadowbox frame, the central miniature tin type inscribed A. Lincoln on a tiered star with tack accents and a miniature silk American flag stick pin, 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
Small losses to corners of frame, surface dirt to interior of glass, back has never been opened.
