Abraham Gibbs, Lancaster, Pennsylvania full stock percussion long rifle, approximately .45 caliber, stamped A. Gibbs Lancaster PA on the barrel flat, with a tiger maple stock, an engraved three-piece patch box, and a cross hatched carved wrist and foregrip with silver escutcheons, 41 1/2'' octagonal barrel.
The stock has been bleached and some incise carving has been added to the wrist and forestock. There is a small 2" repair behind the nipple along the upper barrel tang. The unmarked lock is fully functional. Purchasers of firearms must comply with all state and federal regulations governing their purchase, registration and transportation.
